of cameos, brass & molds, as

NEW FACES & BRASS. (We have already found several dozen new
faces in the first bin). First the un-mounted

| WHAT
IS CLASSIC CREATIONS? .. and how are the cameos made? A couple who were mold makers took their own shell cameo
collection and hand made latex molds. Sometimes details within the mold are re-defined with
dental tools. They then take a liquid
organic pine resin (domestic amber) - see photo of a cameo below, if they did
not add color first to the liquid resin:
So to most they add a color,
and hand-pour the face into the mold. They may pour a second color for
background. When un-molded, we do edging and antiquing work on each, and
mount them on polished BRASS reproduction backings OR
now our exclusive STERLING SILVER Calla Lily designs we have handcrafted in Poland.
These are combo
pin/pendants unless otherwise stated (a single jewelry piece on the back is a
pin and pendant combined), see below:
No machines are used to make these cameos.
A handcrafted Where on Earth design, always one-of-a-kind! Each comes
with an authentication card detailing this process. |

EVOLUTION
OF THE CAMEO & BRASS PURCHASE
As
of February 26, 2006, we have had a custom-built 12 x 24 foot storage
building delivered just for the cameo inventory that we will be adding
soon as we bought the rest of the inventory & business. So stay
tuned! The unfinished cameo inventory will show first on Cameos page
7 as we sort them.
